Cruise Ship Designing Men & Women: Make Their Decor Elements Work At Home

A lot of thought goes into the decor and design accessories that you find aboard cruise ships. If you're like me, you'd like to take some of it with you when your cruise is over. And you can!

Pictured here is a stylish decor element that's sweeping through the cruise industry—the draped cabana. Found mostly on premium to high-end cruise lines such as Celebrity Cruises, Holland America Line, and Oceania Cruises, my favorite cabanas are located near the swimming pool on Regent Seven Seas Cruises' Seven Seas Mariner. They offer comfortable areas of privacy and serenity for quiet conversation, reading, or simply watching the sea. I wanted that feeling on my deck at home, even though I don't have a sea view.

Take a look at how I created a draped cabana effect and how you can adapt other appealing Cruise Ship Decor to your personal environment.
