In a move that’s certain to be popular with passengers, Carnival Cruise Lines has modified the Carnival Miracle’s seasonal Caribbean cruise schedule to include a 10-hour stop in Aruba, one of the region’s most scenic and charming destinations with beautiful beaches and a distinctive Dutch ambiance.
The island will be featured on the ship’s 8-day voyages from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, operating October 2010 to March 2011. Other ports on the itinerary include Grand Turk, La Romana/Casa de Campo, and Curacao, each of which offers magnificent beaches and a diversity of landside experiences.
Carnival Miracle operates a seasonal schedule of 8-day Caribbean voyages from Fort Lauderdale in the winter and 8-day Caribbean voyages from New York in the summer.
When Cruise Diva goes ashore in Aruba, here are the things to See & Do.
Going to Aruba? At a loss as to what to do? Please watch your safety: have you forgotten the disappearance of Natalee Holloway in 2005 and the subsequent cover-up by the Aruba government?
ReplyDeleteAnd this in a country that said it was 80 percent reliant on American tourism.
Best of all ... DON'T GO TO ARUBA.
The life you save may be your own or a fellow traveler's.
If you must go, please consider wearing clothing with Natalee's image on it. We will never forget ... no need to let the Arubans think their cover-up will work.
While I don't agree with you about danger lurking around every corner in Aruba, I decided to share your warning with readers anyway because it raises a good point.
ReplyDeleteEveryone should be cautious in unfamiliar surroundings. That applies to any port of call.
