The Chef's Table Aboard Holland America Line's Westerdam

Dining At Its Finest—The Chef's Table, a new concept in dining aboard Holland America Line's ms Westerdam is an exquisite five course pairing of wines selected by the ship's Cellar Master to complement the gourmet dishes prepared a la minute by the Executive Chef in the Culinary Arts Center's show kitchen.

The table is set, the champagne is poured, so join Cruise Diva at the Chef's Table to enjoy a heavenly meal with a different wine poured at each course. As a bonus, there's also a very useful kitchen tip you can use at home.

  1. Hi cruise Diva

This might be a new concept on board a cruise but in any decent restaurant the sommelier should always pair or suggest wines to go with each course, if you can afford it, is another matter

As a chef I always have the staff and sommeliers taste the new menu to be able to understand and recommend to the guest.

Looks like cruise ships are stepping up !

    Thanks for the article
