Welcome: Carnival, Seabourn, MSC Cruises & Royal Caribbean Ships

It’s been a really big week for first-time ship arrivals in United States port cities.

The activity started as Port Everglades greeted Seabourn Odyssey at dawn on Nov 10 and MSC Poesia arrived on Nov 11. Finally, the Fort Lauderdale port welcomed brand-new Oasis of the Seas at the brand-new Terminal 18 on Nov 13.

There was real excitement in New York City aboard Carnival Dream as she arrived in that city to be christened on Nov 12 by Academy Award-winning actress Marcia Gay Harden (pictured here).

  2. It is a fantastic ship indeed,
I took a cruise on it last Summer and it was unbelievable. I came back home in love with the Italian way of living…
Don’t miss the chance, you will never regret it…

  3. I'm looking forward to taking my first cruise and I am thoroughly excited about it.. It looks to be an interesting trip that will be full of intelligent and provocative discussion amongst the attendees.

  4. We were on MSC Splendida in July 2009. Our luggage was missing for the entire cruise. We finally got it at 6pm on the Friday to have to hand it back 6 hours later! Poor complaints department, and poor customer service in my opinion as the offered a 20% conditional discount for a future cruise! Our holiday costing £5000 was ruined and like we will use them again! Very poor company in my opinion! Still the baggage tags did prove our luggage had a much better holiday than us!

  5. Sorry to hear that about the airline misplacing your luggage and not delivering it to the ship until it was time to disembark. Cruise lines can only do so much to help when that happens. Your complaint should be with the airline.
