Newark Liberty Intl Airport Marriott Offers Guests a Way to Park & Save

Cruisers sailing from Cape Liberty Cruise Port have complained in the past about a variety of parking problems there. From congestion to vehicle damage caused by paint overspray from construction in the port, it often gets a bad rap.

Now there's an affordable alternative, especially if you plan to drive in a day early. Check out the "Park Here, Cruise There" package at the Newark Liberty Intl Airport Marriott Hotel, which includes:

-- Deluxe overnight hotel accommodations
-- Complimentary parking at the hotel while you're on your cruise

With the $19/per day parking rate at the port, it's like getting a hotel room for free to start off a week-long cruise vacation.

Even for those who live close by, staying at the Marriott the night before sailing is a great way to relax and unwind before any trip. And, with complimentary shuttle service directly to the pier, there's one less thing to worry about. The package is a convenient way to make your cruise even more enjoyable. 1. Be sure to read the fine print. The number of free nights may be less than the number of nights on your cruise, especially if you are on a longer cruise, and/or leaving on a weekday. After that, you pay $40 per night:

    * 8 Days free parking including first night of staying in the hotel weekend stay (4 days with weekday stay)
    * Any additional night that the car will remain in hotels parking lot will cost $40 per day

  2. Good point. Eight days should cover many cruisers' requirements and, even with charges for a few additional nights, the convenience might prove worthwhile.
