Veendam "Bermuda" Cruise Re-Routed

As reported today by The Royal Gazette, "Bermuda will be back in business with the airport open, buses running from 6am, and ferries starting at noon."

Hurricane Igor has moved on after lashing the island with winds gusting up to 93 miles per hour and leaving behind extensive property damage. Fortunately there were no major injuries or deaths reported; however, there has been "considerable damage to the electricity distribution system Island-wide."

Therefore, the itinerary for this week's sailing of Holland America Line's ms Veendam, which left New York on Sunday, Sept 19 bound for Bermuda, has been revised as follows:
Sept. 21: Charleston, South Carolina
Sept. 22: Port Canaveral, Florida
Sept. 23: Nassau, Bahamas
Sept. 24: At sea
Sept. 25: At Sea
Sept. 26: New York
