Although you can't be there in person unless you purchased a cabin for the one-night inaugural celebration charity fundraiser, you can still join Royal Caribbean and more than 3,500 guests today via live video web streaming of the naming ceremony of Allure of the Seas. The event will be held prior to the ship’s departure from her Port Everglades homeport.
Allure of the Seas’ surprise godmother will also be revealed in the ceremony, which will be held in the ship’s Amber Theater, and include a customary pipes-and-drum procession, a performance of a scene from Royal Caribbean Productions’ new aerial production Blue Planet, and then culminate with the traditional breaking of a champagne bottle on the ship’s hull.
