The King’s 75th Birthday Celebrated on Carnival Fascination with Fourth Annual Elvis Cruise

Once again Carnival partnered with Elvis Presley Enterprises and Sixthman to produce the Elvis Cruise, this year celebrating The King’s 75th birthday. The 4-day voyage set sail earlier this month on the Carnival Fascination from Jacksonville, Florida.

Hosted by Elvis’ longtime friend Jerry Schilling, the cruise attracted 1,800 Elvis fans who enjoyed entertainment by a number of musical artists, including original members of Elvis’ own TCB Band and performances by winners of the last three Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contests: Shawn Kush, Brandon Bennett, and Bill Cherry.

In addition, guests had the opportunity to preview a special screening on a new Elvis documentary called “Homecoming: Tupelo Welcomes Elvis Home,” along with never-before-seen clips of The King. Another highlight was the unprecedented opportunity to hear Elvis’ stylist and close personal friend, Larry Geller, share many personal stories and memories.

Carnival Fascination operates 4-, 5- and 7-day sailings to the Eastern Caribbean and Bahamas year-round from Jacksonville.
