Carnival Cruise Lines Statement, 4:00PM
We’ve been closely monitoring Tropical Storm Maria in the Atlantic. All warnings have been discontinued as of the latest advisory and all sailings departing on Saturday, 9/10/11 or after will operate as scheduled. In the event we need to make a deviation to the itinerary, we will update our guests.
CARNIVAL VICTORY: 9/11/11 departure
The port of San Juan has reopened and the ship will dock as scheduled on Sunday, 9/11/11. Check-in remains from 2:30PM to 9:30PM and sailing is scheduled for 10:00PM.
Royal Caribbean Statement, 3:00PM
Royal Caribbean Intl continues to monitor the path and progress of Tropical Storm Maria to ensure guests enjoy safe and comfortable cruises, and to make certain our ships steer clear of the storm. The safety of our guests and crew is always our foremost concern.
UPDATED – The Port of San Juan has reopened. Serenade of the Seas will arrive in San Juan, Puerto Rico, at 6:00am on Sunday, Sept 11, as scheduled. Guests on the subsequent sailing should arrive at the port at their regularly scheduled boarding time.
In an abundance of caution, and in order to provide our guests with a safe and comfortable sailing, Oasis of the Seas will sail a modified itinerary. The ship will now call on Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, on Tuesday, Philipsburg, St. Maarten, on Wednesday and Nassau, Bahamas, on Friday. The ship will return to Port Everglades, as scheduled, on Saturday.
Royal Caribbean has not altered the itineraries of any other ship that departs today or tomorrow.
Norwegian Cruise Line Statement, 1:00PM
At Norwegian Cruise Line, the safety and security of our guests and crew is of the utmost importance. Therefore, the company is closely monitoring the path of Tropical Storm Maria. The following is an update on our ships sailing this weekend:
Norwegian Jewel, departed today from New York and is expected to sail as scheduled to the Bahamas and Florida.
Norwegian Gem, departing on Sunday from New York to Bermuda, is expected to sail as scheduled at this time. Depending on the path of the storm, the ship may need to alter its itinerary.
We will advise our guests if there are any changes to the itineraries as soon as the information becomes available. We will update our website and Facebook page again tomorrow.
