We’ve been closely monitoring the forecasted path of Tropical Storm Maria in the Atlantic and it is now clear the track of the storm will force us to make some changes to our scheduled itineraries. As always, the safety of our guests is our number one concern and our ships will maintain a safe distance from the storm at all times.
CARNIVAL DESTINY : 9/10/11 departure
We are reversing the order of our scheduled ports to ensure we remain at a safe distance from the storm on our way to Jamaica and Grand Cayman. The revised itinerary will be:

Mon Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, 8:30AM-4:30PM
Tue Ocho Rios, 8:00AM-3:00PM

Thu Miami, FL, arrive 8:00AM
Tropical Storm Maria is expected to pass near San Juan on Sunday. The port of San Juan will be closed as of 6:00PM on Friday evening. At this time it is uncertain when the port will reopen. We will provide guests with another update no later than 6:00PM on Saturday. We encourage guests to sign up for updates by texting CCL2 to 36500.

Royal Caribbean continues to monitor the path and progress of Tropical Storm Maria to ensure guests enjoy safe and comfortable cruises, and to make certain our ships steer clear of the storm. The safety of our guests and crew is always our foremost concern.
Given Tropical Storm Maria’s current location and projected path, Royal Caribbean has not altered the itineraries of any ship that departs today or Sunday. We encourage guests on the Sunday, Sept 11, sailing of Serenade of the Seas monitor the Royal Caribbean website and their airlines for any additional updates regarding the storm.
