Visit Fort Lauderdale Pre- or Post-Cruise

The Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) wants to invite you to visit before or after your next cruise from Port Everglades. As an enticement, they have launched a video to promote the area just in time for Cruise Lines International Association’s (CLIA) National Cruise Vacation Week, scheduled for October 17-23.

Come along with Towel Turtle, one of the many whimsical animal figures that cruise ship stateroom attendants fashion out of bath towels to amuse passengers, to discover what Fort Lauderdale has in store for you.

Greater Fort Lauderdale’s Port Everglades is one of the busiest cruise ports in the world, hosting 12 cruise lines and 45 ships, including the biggest in the CLIA fleet. Among the major lines calling the area home are: Carnival Cruise Lines, Celebrity Cruises, Cunard Line, Holland America Line, MSC Cruises, Princess Cruises, Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Royal Caribbean International, Seabourn and Silversea Cruises.

To ensure that the millions of cruise passengers sailing from Port Everglades have every opportunity to stretch their vacations and enjoy added value, the CVB has a comprehensive “Cruise and Play” program featuring special offers and other incentives for choosing a pre- or post-cruise vacation in Greater Fort Lauderdale. More information is available on the CVB web site.

  1. I have been in this pre and post cruise and I had the best experience for cruising. All of their boats is safe because of Boat Insurance Ft Lauderdale insurance services.
