Double Take: Cunard Sister Ships Meet In The Norwegian Fjords

Passengers aboard each ship must have felt like they were peering into a mirror as Norwegians ashore saw "double" when two of Cunard's liners sailed in their country for the first time.

Both Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria took their respective guests on luxury cruise vacations through the breathtaking Fjords in Norway when the ships were pictured here at Flaam, near Sognefjord, where they visited for the day last Monday.

In true Cunard style, the sister Queens saluted each other several times, with the echoes of their whistles reverberating through the lush mountains for long periods after the initial blasts.

Queen Elizabeth is currently on a 14-night Norwegian Fjords and North Cape Discovery voyage, while Queen Victoria has completed her one week Fjords and Waterfalls voyage.
