Carnival Sunshine to Feature an Array of Dining Choices

The latest in the series of Carnival Sunshine videos showcases the expanded variety of food selections that will be available aboard the totally transformed ship when it debuts next month. From burritos and tacos at new BlueIguana Cantina and family-style Italian dining at Cucina del Capitano to the new full-service JiJi Asian Kitchen and the ever-popular Guy’s Burger Joint developed by Food Network personality Guy Fieri, Carnival Sunshine guests will have a tempting array of culinary choices.

The video also showcases the transformation of the Liquid Lounge which will serve as the venue for entertainment options like the high-tech Playlist Productions revues and the all-ages Hasbro, The Game Show. At night, this room transforms into a sizzling dance club. These are but a few of the many upgrades that will be featured on the Carnival Sunshine, which is in the final stages of being rebuilt in a massive $155 million dry dock project at the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy.

Carnival Sunshine makes its maiden voyage May 5 from Venice, Italy, and then embarks on a series of 9- and 12-day Mediterranean cruises from Venice and Barcelona through October. That will be followed by a 16-day trans-Atlantic crossing from Barcelona to New Orleans Nov. 1-17, positioning the vessel for year-round Caribbean 7-day service from the Big Easy.
