Celebrity Cruises Debuts a Shipbuilding Documentary

If you ever wanted a behind-the-scenes look into the building of a cruise ship, for a price now you can.

Celebrity Cruises has announced the debut of a new documentary, “The Making of Celebrity Reflection—The Fifth in Class.” It's an insider's journey from the laying of the keel to installing the azipods, from the first float-out to the celebratory naming ceremony. The 70-minute documentary is an entertaining view of cruise ship building hosted by longtime Cruise Director Nick Weir and captured over the course of 18 months, as the fifth in the Solstice Class fleet, Celebrity Reflection, was constructed at Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany.

That video is a trailer for the “The Making of Celebrity Reflection” and you can purchase the entire documentary online at the retail price of $16.95 at ShopCelebrityCruises.com, or across the fleet at the Guest Relations Desk.
