Now that the holidays and 2013 are behind us, it's time to think about the new year and where we want to go on our next cruise vacation. Indeed, it's "Wave Season"—the time of year when a majority of bookings are made and, happily, cruise lines are offering some good deals to make it worth their while for consumers to make a reservation.
While last year was a particularly bad one in terms of image for cruise travel, with the Carnival Triumph incident being called a 'poop cruise' and dire reports in the national news, the attractive 2014 fare offerings arriving in email the past couple weeks are reflective of the industry's effort to win consumers over.
It's time to catch that "wave" before the deals disappear.
