Quantum of the Seas Reaches a Milestone

Royal Caribbean International's Quantum of the Seas reached a milestone in its construction this week as the final block was moved into position.

Fun Fact From Royal Caribbean: The block construction process is a popular method used for today's ship building, which involves the joining of the hull and deck of a vessel together. The pieces are prefabricated at different locations and then lifted and welded into place.
