Get Your Ink On At Sea

Back during my childhood it seemed that only sailors (like my Navy veteran father and uncle) had tattoos. Fast forward and today you’ll see creative (and not-so-nicely done) tattoos on everyone from movie stars to the girl next door. Tattoos are going to sea again with the first-ever tattoo-themed North American cruise, Ink or Swim, which will sail April 16–20, 2015 from Fort Lauderdale to Cozumel, Mexico on Royal Caribbean’s Liberty of the Seas.

Produced by REBEL INK, the popular magazine highlighting tattoo lifestyle and ink culture, and award-winning photographer Dan Howell, the first annual cruise will offer guests the opportunity to sail the high seas while getting ‘fresh ink’ from some of the most in-demand artists in the country, as well attend exclusive Ink or Swim events.

Cruise fares include all Ink or Swim activities, amenities, and exclusive events, including onboard Burlesque shows, tattoo contests, complimentary photo shoots, and a private beach party in Cozumel. When booked before December 1st fares also include a $150 credit toward a tattoo by any of the artists on board for the 1st and 2nd guests in each room. This is your chance to get inked by Ink Master celebrity tattooists Tatu Baby, Clint Cummings, or Sarah Miller.

While on board, participants will be invited to put on their Sunday best and then roll up those sleeves or hike up that skirt to show off their ink and have a portrait shot for an upcoming issue of Rebel Ink magazine.
