Members of Carnival’s Field Sales Team ‘Take the Plunge’ to Benefit Maryland Special Olympics

Proving that Carnival employees will do just about anything for a good cause, Regional Vice President–Trade Sales Eastern US and Caribbean Kirk Neal and Business Development Directors Kathy Donnelly, Grace Ambrosia and Christine Schultz were among the thousands of individuals who braved the icy waters of Chesapeake Bay as part of the annual Polar Bear Plunge benefiting Maryland Special Olympics. Several of Carnival’s travel agent partners joined in the day of cold weather fun.

This marked the eighth year that Carnival has sponsored the event, which collects donations from individuals, groups and organizations pledging to “take the plunge.”

Participants ventured into the chilly waters at different intervals over the course of several hours, raising thousands of dollars for Special Olympics’ athletic programs for special needs children.
