Located on opposite sides of the main Lido Deck pool, the bars engage in a bit of friendly rivalry with alternating live jams in the afternoon and even livelier nighttime deck parties featuring dancing, contests, prizes and giveaways. Red is the color to wear to RedFrog’s Caribbean Beach Party and naturally blue is de rigueur for BlueIguana’s Mexican Fiesta.
Cruise Director Jamie is on hand to lead all the action and every Tuesday night is a celebration of Mardi Gras “Fat Tuesday” aboard Carnival Liberty with dancing, live jazz, and beads to catch. I even joined in to dance…bad knees and all. That’s proof of Jaime’s infectious energy and the engaging action.
Families haven’t been overlooked and some of their fun activities have included an 80’s Name That Song contest, Balloon Bingo, Game Show Mania, and a “Thriller” Dance Class.
While the hot and Cool Dance Nightclub doesn’t get going until late, the DJs keep the music going until even later. We haven’t had the chance to check it out yet—we’ve been having too much fun, but will definitely get around to it.
