A New Cruise Terminal in Bayonne for Royal Caribbean

When Royal Caribbean's brand new 4,180-passenger Quantum of the Seas sails out of Bayonne, New Jersey's Cape Liberty in November 2014 it will have an all new terminal to call home.

The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey has approved Royal Caribbean's plans to build new cruise terminal facilities at Cape Liberty. The $70 million project will include a 36,000-square-foot arrivals terminal, a 60,000-square-foot luggage area, and a parking deck.

To be completed by October 2014—in plenty of time for Quantum of the Seas' arrival—construction is scheduled to begin this summer.
