The first Princess Cruises Entertainer of the Year cruise this past April was such a success that the line is making it an annual event. During the second annual cruise to determine 2012’s winner, passengers aboard the Feb 9-16, 2013 Valentine’s Day cruise on Crown Princess sailing the Western Caribbean will cast their ballots to show their love for their favorite candidate from four finalists.Leading up to next year’s cruise, the Princess Cruises entertainment team will select the four top finalists for 2012 and air video clips of their performances online so fans can see the entertainers who are up for the award. Aboard the Entertainer of the Year cruise, passengers will be able to see live performances from each finalist and then cast their ballot for their favorite. A special party will be held on the final night of the cruise to announce the winner, who will receive a $5,000 cash prize and hold the title of “2012 Princess Cruises Entertainer of the Year.”
Highlights from the first Entertainer of the Year cruise, in which comedian Carlos Oscar was named the top entertainer across the Princess Cruises fleet, are captured in this overview video.
