That said, there is an app of sorts that I'm fond of and it's from my publisher, Fodor's. I said app of sorts because you don't have to download anything to use it. It's accessible right in your mobile's browser at Fodors.com. I was intrigued by what they said in their Travel Blog online, "We're not sure if you noticed, but browsing Fodors.com on your phone just got awesome. We're proud to announce that Fodors.com is now optimized for phones of all shapes and sizes. You'll find it easier to use and navigate, offering quick access to all the relevant travel information, fascinating blog posts, and Forum conversations you're accustomed to."
So, I gave it a try and happily it looks great on my BlackBerry Torch. Plus, the site is not only designed for readability, it's also optimized for touch screens. And, in a shameless bit of self promotion, the Cruises section was written by yours truly.
Finally...something truly awesome for my BlackBerry!

I was at my daughter's house.
I asked for a newspaper.
She replied they didn't spend money on papers or magazines and handed me her iPad.
That fly never knew what hit him.
Can't say that I blame your daughter for not wasting money on newspapers and magazines when so many of them publish on the Internet these days. The iPad is a nice portable tool, but I don't understand the slavish devotion to the "apps" for it.

It was a joke, or did I violate some code of the bloggers?
I know it was a joke about tossing it. I'd like to do the same when my neighbor sends test messages at the dinner table.
