Miami, March 11 -- It was announced at Seatrade today that Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands will name Holland America Line's new 2,104-passenger Signature-class ship ms Eurodam. The ceremony will take place in Rotterdam on July 1, 2008 before a prelude cruise departs for Copenhagen the following day.
"The upcoming naming ceremony of ms Eurodam will be a very special moment in our company's proud 135-year history," said Stein Kruse, president and chief executive officer of Holland America Line.
Holland America Line has a long and proud relationship with the Dutch Royal Family--nine vessels have been launched by members of the Royal Family.
