Deal Alert: National Cruise Vacation Week Ends Tomorrow

If your bucket list includes circumnavigating the globe in luxury and style, elephant rides in Thailand, visiting a variety of UNESCO Heritage Sites, exploring the ancient ruins of Pompeii, whale watching in the Baja, or more, your dream cruise vacation may be an affordable reality during Cruise Lines International Association’s (CLIA) National Cruise Vacation Week, Oct. 20–27, 2013.

Promoted as the “World’s Largest Cruise Sale,” National Cruise Vacation Week (NCVW) is the centerpiece of National Cruise Month, which has featured hundreds of exclusive cruise deals and incentives from CLIA’s 26 member cruise lines representing more than 200 of the world’s most popular ships. Thousands of CLIA travel agents and agencies have been participating in NCVW and
we’ve been seeing NCVW savings and special offers that include credits for shipboard spending up to $500, balcony upgrades, two-for-one fares, complimentary tours and free hotel nights in port cities on thousands of sailings worldwide.

With the end of the promotion fast approaching, you’ll have to act fast to score one of the deals this weekend. Information on National Cruise Vacation Week, where to find a CLIA travel agent and agency, and to examples of sample deals is available online.

Can’t get your plans together in time? Don’t fret. You still have a few days to get in on MSC Cruises’ promotion, which is available to residents of the US and Canada who book select sailings of MSC Divina that depart Miami from April 12 through October 11, 2014.

Shipboard credits are offered as follows:
-- Interior and Ocean View staterooms: $25 per person (maximum of $50 per stateroom);
-- Balcony and Suites: $50 per person (maximum of $100 per stateroom); and
-- MSC Yacht Club Suites: $100 per person (maximum of $200 per stateroom).
The MSC offer expires on Oct 31, 2013.
