American Cruise Lines Takes Alaska Summer 2018

American Cruise Lines’ newest ship, American Constellation, sets sail to Alaska for the 2018 cruise season. With special cruise ship access to Glacier Bay from The National Park Service, American Constellation’s arrival this June will more than double American Cruise Lines’ capacity in the region and help meet the recent demand for cruise travel to Alaska.

The brand new, 175-passenger American Constellation is the only fully-stabilized ship in the region and has the largest staterooms of any small ship in Alaska. Appointed with furnished balconies and full-size bathrooms, American Constellation elevates cruising in Alaska by providing the intimate access of smaller ships coupled with the comfort and sophistication of larger ships. American Cruise Lines’ American Constellation will provide its guests with the most authentic Alaska experience and the most modern spacious staterooms available for cruising America’s last frontier.

“It’s a privilege to be a part of the ongoing preservation and conservation of Glacier Bay. We are continuously looking for ways to provide our guests with the most memorable cruising experience and this rare glimpse of the world’s most magnificent biosphere does just that,” says Charles A. Robertson, CEO of American Cruise Lines.

Complimentary pre-cruise hotel packages are available for all cruises departing from Juneau, Alaska. With itineraries ranging from 8 to 15 days, the Alaska cruises visit such beautiful ports-of-call as Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan, Petersburg, Kake and Glacier Bay—among others. With complimentary guided tours offered at each port and onboard historians, naturalists, and local experts, American Cruise Lines offers award-winning enrichment and entertainment suitable for the most sophisticated and discerning traveler.
