I saw the pictures in your linked post and read your thoughtful commentary. If I didn't know better I would say we were on different ships. We were on the Orchestra the following week, on the Eastern Caribbean cruise and did not see the kind of food pictured or have the experienced described.
I'm sorry to hear that, Keli. Photos I used of the food were taken by my husband and I at the Gala Buffet and in the pizza station of the lido buffet. I assure you they were snapped on MSC Orchestra.
The Gala Buffet was served poolside at midnight on the 6th night of the cruise (formal "Gala" night) and pizza was available daily during the buffet luncheon hours as well as in the evening.
I hope that clears up your confusion.
