After Celebrity Reflection, What’s In The Future For Celebrity Cruises?

With the naming ceremony and official launch of Celebrity Reflection, the fifth and last of the Solstice-class newbuilds behind them, the line’s executives expressed their vision of the future during a meeting with the media on board last weekend.

At the top of their list is working to improve their culinary and entertainment departments to satisfy their targeted affluent and upscale passenger demographic. That market segment will already be delighted by the additional high end suites and amenities added to Celebrity Reflection.

For 2014, watch for Celebrity’s announcement of exciting new itineraries and destinations on all seven continents that will entice travelers looking for new adventures around the globe.

A more immediate upgrade will be the enhancement of Captain’s Club, the Celebrity Cruises loyalty program. While details are sketchy right now, expect to see new levels added to the program in 2013 that will further reward their most dedicated past passengers.

Most importantly, Celebrity Cruises plans to continue to deliver a high end premium product to meet and exceed passengers’ expectations. Celebrity Reflection certainly accomplishes that.
