One of the new casual lunchtime dining options on Carnival Breeze is only available on sea days and with three of them on this 8-night cruise so we’ll have several opportunities to enjoy Fat Jimmy’s C-Side BBQ. Pictured here, Fat Jimmy’s is located outside on Promenade Deck near the Ocean Plaza, where the grill serves up traditional favorites—grilled barbecued chicken breast, Italian sausage, kielbasa, and authentic pulled pork sandwiches. Barbecue fare is rounded out with baked beans, potato salad, coleslaw, creamed corn, and mini-corn muffins.It’s just like a backyard barbecue with a twist—Carnival Breeze’s grill chefs do all the cooking and all you have to do is clean your plate (but you don’t have to wash it).
Additional casual lunch options, also with no extra charge, that we can enjoy any day aboard Carnival Breeze include the freshly made burgers at Guy’s Burger Joint, created in partnerships with Food Network celebrity Guy Fieri (thousands of his burger creations are consumed on a typical sea day) and BlueIguana Cantina where authentic tacos and burritos can be personalized with toppings at an extensive salsa bar. For those who want light fare, there’s also a salad bar in the Ocean Plaza, and Marketplace, the Lido Deck buffet restaurant, is always popular.
With so many choices—not to mention free 24-hour room service and pizza—we won’t go hungry aboard Carnival Breeze.
