One of Cruise Diva's favorite desserts, and one that is available every night on Carnival Cruise Lines' ships, is Warm Chocolate Melting Cake. It's a serious chocolate lover's delight—firm around the edges and gooey chocolate heaven in the middle.
Carnival's latest "Recipe of the Month" is Warm Chocolate Melting Cake and Cruise Diva is happy to pass it along to those of you who love it as much as I do!
Warm Chocolate Melting Cake
• 16 oz dark chocolatePreheat oven to 375 degrees.
• 16 oz butter
• 10 eggs, divided
• 10 ounces sugar
• 6 ounces flour
• Melt the chocolate and butter. Mix the eggs with the sugar and whisk for a few minutes; add the flour. Combine the egg mixture with the melted chocolate and mix. Then pour into individual greased molds. Bake directly in the oven at 400°F for 14 minutes.Enjoy!
• Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar and garnish with fresh fruit. Serve warm with ice cream.
