Carnival Cruise Lines' Platinum Perks

Over the years--actually since our first Carnival cruise on the line's original ship, Mardi Gras--we've accumulated enough sailings to reach the Platinum level in Carnival's Very Important Fun Person past passenger program.

Benefits to Platinum and above members that we most appreciate are priority embarkation and debarkation, logo gift items (which have included such keepsakes as photo frames and tote bags) along with ship-specific pins, a concierge desk on board, complimentary wash and fold laundry service (2 bags on a 3–6 day cruises, 3 bags on a 7+ day cruises), a complimentary alcoholic or specialty beverage at breakfast or lunch or at the Punchliner Comedy Brunch, and members-only shipboard cocktail parties with complimentary drinks and appetizers.

Once aboard Carnival Breeze last week we were delighted to receive the latest logo gift, the insulated tumblers pictured above. Trust me, they got a lot of use during our cruise for morning coffee and afternoon lemonade. The tumblers are designed to keep hot beverages hot and cold beverages cold. With the lids, we avoided spills and. perhaps best of all, they are dishwasher proof.
