We are closely monitoring Hurricane Irma's path and its potential impact to our current and upcoming sailings. Royal Caribbean's Chief Meteorologist, James Van Fleet, is closely tracking the storm's progress, and the current forecast is as follows:
Hurricane Irma has passed over St. Maarten and St Thomas today and is currently passing just north of San Juan. Irma is currently moving west northwest at 16 mph, and has sustained winds of 185 mph. New models are similar to this morning bringing Irma between Miami and the Bahamas Sunday morning.
