Celebrity Cruises’ Statement
Celebrity Cruises is closely monitoring the path and progress of Hurricane Rina to ensure guests enjoy safe and comfortable cruises, and to make certain our ships steer clear of the storm. The safety of our guests and crew is always our foremost concern.
Due to the forecasted path of Hurricane Rina, Celebrity Cruises is altering the itinerary for the Celebrity Millennium sailing that departs Thursday, Oct 27. Celebrity Millennium will now call at Key West, Florida, on Friday, from 7:00am to 5:00pm, so that guests may have more time to enjoy the port of call. The ship will spend Saturday, Oct 29, at sea, instead of calling to Cozumel, Mexico. On Sunday, Oct 30, the ship will call on Nassau, Bahamas, from 8:00am to 5:00pm and return to the Port of Miami, on Monday, as scheduled.
No other Celebrity Cruises ship’s itinerary is currently being affected by Hurricane Rina. Celebrity Cruises will continue to closely monitor weather conditions and will update this information if there are any additional itinerary alterations due to the storm’s projected path.
