New Cruise Review—Norwegian Getaway

Regular contributors Mary & Vincent Finelli are impressed by their first look at Norwegian Getaway as they sailed from Miami. They describe the ship as “sober elegance—nautical style,” with lots of dark walnut wood and white walls accented by brass. Their review describes the features on board and they share that, “This is a beautiful ship with lots of innovative ideas. There is much to see and do for passengers of all ages. Actually a 7-day cruise is too short for enjoying all the dining venues aboard.”

Once on board Mary & Vincent found the ship very accessible (they both have mobility issues). However, a near-accident on the gangway could have cut their voyage short. We hope that gangway accessabilty is something that is taken care of by the Port of Miami in the future.
