Club Class Mini-Suite category is definitely worth the MA class price. We sailed on Emerald Princess leaving Sydney for a 7 night cruise to Tasmania on 12/12/2016.
Pros - We enjoyed the expedited dining and amazing service in the da Vinci dining room; the option to have complementary fresh fruit or canapés (although we only ordered canapés once) delivered to your stateroom; and the general quality of service and amenities that made us feel a little special.
Cons - We did not get priority embarkation as stated in current advertising. Upon arriving at the cruise terminal, there was a sign "Priority embarkation for Elite and Full Suite passengers only". After our boarding passes were checked, we were directed to the regular long line on a very hot day (hubby thought I'd got it wrong and thus, the first disappointment before even boarding; the new much-hyped beds were quite ordinary and we found them uncomfortably firm.
On the whole, we decided that Club Class Mini-Suite would be our new normal for cruising as we enjoyed our experience on Emerald Princess.
